Agreed.

But the Feds have been going against the majority for a while now.

Well it is the big topic on Capital Hill and everywhere else right now.

It has more wings at this moment than ever in my lifetime. This is as serious as I can remember.

When I took that oath my dad (not a Regan fan) was quick to let me know that the part about the president came AFTER the part about the constitution. At the time I didn't pay a lot of attention to it. Admittedly it was just a formality for me to serve. But I was a kid.

We have a well educated and smart military. By design. We ask our soldiers, sailors and Marines to be thinking men and women. I agree. No way an intelligent person can misunderstand that oath.

Alabama does not require our guns to be registered.

No police report needed.

I wonder if the feds are paying jack booted thugs to go around stealing everyones guns?

Sounds about right.

I guess when I get home even my broken old shotgun will be missing

Sure why not. I finally found my new concealed carry as its hard around the area to find.

Purchased a Springfield XDs 45ACP

lightweight for a .45 , Recoil isnt noticable especially for a .45 , very concealable the only con which to many it may not matter but I had to
order an extended clip ( holds 7 ) as with the OEM clip your pinkie is out in space. OEM clip ( holds 5 ) I also ordered a set of TruGlo TFO night sights.

I have put about 450 rounds through it with no misfires/jams So far all I have shot Amo wise is winchester white box 230 grain , Federal Ammunition and Spear gold dot 230 Hollow point.

Nice. This one's definitely on my short list, but since it has less than 10 rounds I'm in no hurry.

I definitely want a .308, so I'm also thinking about tricking out a Remington 700.

I picked up a Springfield M1A Scout about 7 weeks ago and I LOVE IT.

.308 packs a pretty nice punch and it has helped resolve a couple of wild hog infestations as of late around my father's fields.

The next rifle I would like to get would be a R700 in .270 once things calm down a bit.
