XM issue resolved just had to pair the account with my name. Think I'll fiddle with it some more to find out what I can about HVAC display.

It won't be on the display. That's in the BCM, which didn't have it until 2012

In that case everything is good then. Would I be able to get a firmware upgrade from the dealer to make it work? Or is it a totally different BCM?

No, dealer won't be able to add it. GTPprix (White Auto and Media) who did the programming of the silver box in the nav kit MIGHT be able to. If he can't, nobody can

For those who have navigation (like me) is the navigation dependent on Onstar or not? I currently have the guidance plan with Onstar but will change my plan if navigation works independently.

Nav system is not dependent on Onstar.

A20 diagram

COuld someone post or Repost a A20/HVAC radio diagram.. I'm installing a MyLink to my 2010 SS and would like to see pictures of where my wires go, been searching around and going through threads and I can't find to many pictures. All online videos fast forward through the stuff I need to see... Mine is non navigation. I would be most grateful!

So I have a 2010 Camaro 2ss/rs and if I would install the mylink on my car is it straight up plug and play? And as for the locking button is that easy to get installed?

@Krisprz there is a little more to it, you'll need to buy a harness. There are a few videos that give an idea of how it's done. And for the locking button there is another thread that shows that install. I am in the process of doing mine (non Nav)

So if I buy the whole kit from Gen5diy does that include everything I need? And I'm also guessing that the nav mylink would also need additional stuff?

Check out gen5diy web site, they sell everything needed for the install and navigation. My kit came from a different vender that my seller used before, I am thinking they left out the installation instructions so I am waiting. There is one wire needs to be T tapped into the radio harness and 5 wires that need to be plugged into the A20 HVAC. Other than those everything looks like plug and play.

I have a 2011 2SSRS and added the MyLink back in October. I got the unit with Nav and the kit comes with harness and the brain and the touch screen comes from the manufacturer if I'm not mistaken. I've slept since the but Ofer sends the bulk of the kit and the face plate and touch screen comes separate. I also got the back up cam. Now I'm not tech savvy so I had a friend do my install and it's semi sorta p&p. You have to take out the console, get in behind the glove box to get to the OnStar box I believe. While having this done I also did my Alpine sub thump, Alpine amp as well as Affinity speaker upgrade and fader. It all came together nicely and to look and hear it, you'd think it came from factor. I did get the door unlock harness as well but didn't get the switch and it's something I can always do if I find a switch I want to use and decide on a location for it.
My buddy took my car home and got to work right away and worked until about midnight, so he probably put in 7hrs day one but had the unit in the car working before going to bed. He finished it up with the amp and speakers and all the next day and brought the car back to me by 4p on day two.

I credit Ofer for putting together such a nice package, very professional and the instructions were clear for my guy. I think there may have also been a DVD provided as well.
