LPE fuel pumps and FPCM tune

Hey guys I have the LPE dual fuel pumps with their fpcm that I installed years ago with ID850s. I started running flex fuel and at higher ethanol content I'm having fuel pressure issues, dropping from 58psi down to 41psi.

Does anyone know if the LPE fpcm is able to be tuned through HP tuners to increase output like the zl1 pumps? Right now everything in the desired fuel pressure is set to 400kpa.

I just ordered a second meth nozzle for my alky control setup to help.

You can read out the FPCM with HPtuners they are already set on kill.

CTSV twin pumps run out at 750 RWHP on Gasoline as Ethanol content goes up that number comes down.

Time for a Fore innovations twin pump set up along with ID1300s, the 850 are likely running out too.

Ted.

Ran mine with E for 3-4 years, no problems. Got about 735whp with it and a KB BAP.

Yea the ID850's are maxed out with ethanol. I guess I'm tearing the car back apart this winter for bigger pumps and injectors.

At the end of the mile run in 5th gear running 12.5psi boost, fuel pressure hung at 52psi.

I think you can set the pressures to 450 kpa and it should increase (CTS-V regulator I think is 65psi or higher). I had to set normal and high flow to 450 kpa to get higher pressure with my new pump while WOT. But if you're already losing pressure on ethanol you likely need a new pump.

Has it dropped pressure before with ethanol? If no, your current pump is going out. If yes, you need a bigger pump.

As Ted said that pump and fpcm will be set to run a max pressure of 65 psi already. No point in trying to tune the fpcm to give more if it's already losing pressure

Should be 71 psi with the CTSV pumps
