L99 6l80e manual swap
Hey looking to build my camaro for the track it’s a 2012 camaro 1ss with the 6L80E... I’ve been looking to swap out the trans to a Tr6060 but have no clue how to go about it as in what will be needed (like wiring and tuning) and if it’ll be an easy bolt on swap minus tuning. If anyone has done it any advice and what will I need to do to get a tr6060 into my camaro.

Sell it and buy a manual or trade it for one.

I wouldn't think it's too difficult to swap an auto to manual.
I did that myself in a Mustang GT I had before this SS. I can say this, it won't be cheap though. Just swapping up to a 6L90 in my SS was a chunk!

Yep, I looked into this and was not as cheap as I expected once I started piecing all the parts together

Unless you are married to your car and have a ton of work and time invested in it and can't see yourself parting with it, you are way better off to do what the others said. Sell it and buy another car.
The cost alone to do a swap like this should be enough to stop you even if you did all the work yourself... even if you found a donor car. This is a partial list of the stuff you'll need: 1. TR6060 2. Flywheel 3. Clutch 4. Transmission Controller 5. pedal assembly (brake and clutch) 6. Hydraulics (master and slave cylinder and lines) 7. Console for shifter 8. Tuning All of that on the cheapest end will be in the $5,000 - $6,000 range if you did it yourself. If you dont have a lift and the tools and the know how to do it though, you're looking at 2-3 days of labor minimum... my guess is $1600-$2400 labor only. For reference, my buddy had a refurbished 6L80e swapped in his suburban by a local transmission shop that was a direct replacement for $3,000.
