Anyone installed the ZEX Kit?

Ive been away for some time now. I see lots of discussion about forced induction being developed, but the ZEX kit is available now. I have enough self control to stop with the jets ZEX provides with the kit, tax rebate is on the way, that zex kit is looking tempting.....has anyone installed one yet or do I have to be the test dummy?:seesaw:

I'll admit I've been looking at this kit.
I'm holding off until deciding if I should risk ruining my warranty.

I'd like to see my car get into the 13's.....but then again is it worth it?

I have this kit installed and it is a very nice system. I also have many other mods so I cannot give feedback as to what it is like compared to stock.

I haven't heard of anyone on here that has installed the ZEX kit on a v6. I'm probably gonna buy one before the track opens this spring.

NO, the Rev limiter is not set to 118MPH... and YES, driving in this manner does affect MPG...

Had the Zex in my V6 Stang... lots of fun... the instant torque gets your attention... I did this because like now with the Camaro there were no other FI kits available.. This time however I'm going to wait... mainly because

1) An N2O setup is really only good for the track... not real practically on the street

2) It is illegal in most states, if not all states, to run N2O on the street...

I actually got greedy with the zex and popped my motor.... pulled the zex out and put in a supercharger... needless to say i loved the supercharger even around town... so this time i'm going to wait...

Scrming for President! Off topic but I just got done driving a 2SS with the 6-speed stick....holy s**t was it fun! Too bad the roads were a tad wet.

The grunt of that motor got me giddy!

Giddy enough to take the TTL hit and trade up?

I'd be lying if it didn't cross my mind....but logic set in....two kids who will be driving in 3 to 6 years, and if I trade up, 2 of our 3 cars will be V8 manual transmission Camaros...I'd only be asking for trouble.

But doggone, nothing like low end torque and V8 grunt. Frankly, a set of 3.73's in the SS would be all I'd do to it!

My dilemma as well!! Part of the reason for v6 purchase was to let my 11 year old son drive this in 5 years.. Didn't want to put the v8 into his hands.. hell, the v6 is probably asking for trouble..
