Understood my friend and I don't disagree, but you and I know how our goals can change over time. If I ever decide to go LSX then I wont have to change the blower to support 1200 HP. I will have to tweak the fuel system but the air supply will still be good and that is a major expense to have out of the way.

That I agree with. Plans change and you'll have a blower in the future that can support those plans.

I considered a 10 rib setup, but a really well built one (such as the Lingenfelter 10 rib) is $2800 which is > 1/3 the F-1X cost so I decided against that option. In the end I may have stopped the slipping, but I still would have been blower limited. If I later decided to go with the LSX then the $2800 spent on the 10 rib would have been in vain.

I considered NOS, but then the power would only be available when the bottle was full, hot, and open. I was looking for power that was always available.

I suppose to each his own, but at this point there is no turning back. After considering all of the options and doing some research, I still think this was the best route for me.

Great build! That Procharger is a monster sitting on that bracket! Mine is getting the D1 installed this week, but I did go with the Race cooler for future potential power increases.

Really digging that grill. Where did it come from?

Thanks, yes the grill seems to get it's share of attention. It is a T-Rex Phantom black billet. It fits over the stock grill (which I didn't have) so I had to get both, lol. It is not a cheap plastic grill so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. Here are a few pics of the front:

That's clean. Reminds me of a 68 RS/SS with hideaways.

When I get the car back (it left for boost the day after I bought it), I plan to de-badge all around. I believe the lines are a lot cleaner without the logo on the front fenders. Did you remove the bowtie on the back of the car?

Thanks! I am an old fart and I don't so much like all of the stripes and such. Left the bowtie but it is blacked out. Here are some pics of the rear:

LOL, Understood! What I have noticed is the first attention getter is the big cam lope. Then they see the car and commence to give it the once over.
