Radio makes popping sound and goes silent - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My 2015 Camaro radio makes a loud pop and goes silent after a couple minutes of playing. If I turn off the engine and restart car, the radio will work for a couple of minutes, make a loud pop, and go silent again. While the radio is silent, audio from blutooth still works. Sometime, blinker sounds statically and goes silent also. Any help is appreciated.

This is a common problem. Unless someone came up with a recent fix, your radio is toast and needs to be replaced. I would suggest Crutchfield since you can get the install kit for 1/2 the price if you buy a new radio. They even have a service where they will make all your wire connections ahead of time for you so it's just a plug and play deal.
