2010 Camaro SS open air intake problem

I recently put an open air intake on my SS. Traction control lights and engine light come on now. After a couple minutes of driving traction control lights turn off but engine light stays on. After driving a little better for a couple minutes the engine light flashes and the other traction control lights come back on and the process starts all over. Any ideas?

Traction control/ABS messages are the GenVs way of saying weird shit is happening. Double check your work and look for something you might have pulled or left loose. I would pay particular attention to the MAF, TPS or that temp sensor by cyl 1.

If this is just a cheapo universal type CAI kit you installed then its likely throwing codes because of MAF sensor placement or a vacuum leak after the MAF (unmetered air).

What exactly did you install?

The MAF sensor may need a reducer if the intake tube is too big.
