That's bad news about the fiat. Nice eye candy. 1LE still out performs it.

Yeah I was over at his (fiat) house lat night and he had the battery charger hooked up....I said again? he said don't ask, it's going away next week.
When I told the chevy salesman I had the 1le as a gm trade, he laughed and said "well i know that is probably not happening" |

Neither of which I would rather run than the 1LE....Laguna would not be too friendly to the hellcat, imho.....understeer would probably ball it on turn 3 on the first lap and power induced oversteer would finish it off on turn 4 |

I'm going to go outside the box a little here...
2013-2014 Mercedes GL 450 then get a $1k tune. We have a '12 we got CPO to replace the old Tahoe and love it but I wish for the twin turbo V8. GL450 has identical motor as GL550 for 13 and 14 but detuned. A tune puts them both over 600/600 if you want. Tow 7500lbs, your Porsche, Camaro or moderate travel trailer no problem. |

Surprisingly no one suggested selling the track car and replace it with a new Z28.
Another thought would be wait just a bit for the new Miata which looks killer and save enough cash to do the truck too.

Let the haters start hating me: trade in the 1LE on the truck. Then save up and buy a Z/28. You know you want one. :-P Since you have the track toy now, you can just tinker with that for the time being and feel good towing her to and from the track in style...

Mark, trust me I am thinking about it.......You know I am at the 1LE's limit the way it sits...The only thing that I thinking about at this point is future resale value low mile 1LE vs Silverado 4x4.....in 5 years when paid off, where is my equity at? For the haters, YES EQUITY, as my job pays for my cars.....LOL

There's no equity in these cars (1LEs). Last I checked the bluebook for a 2013 was around $26k. It'll keep dropping too. I support the Z/28 option if you have the cash. If it's going to be a serious track only car then why not get a spec Ford, Miata or something similar for $15k and save $60 extra a Z28 would cost on maintenance, track time and repairs.
