Zl1 pricing

Hey guys I'm looking for a little advise on a 15 zl1 6 speed under 8k miles with carbon fiber insert and Recaro's. Completely stock, no accidents and perfect paint. What do you think is a fair private party sale price in today's market.

Thanks

I'd start at $37k and take no less than $35k. Those Recaros should really help it sell at the top of the price range compared to a Z without them. The right buyer would know that too.

The market is super weird right now. I've seen some guys struggle to sell Zs in the low $30s but I've also seen guys sell them for $40k in only a week or 2. I dunno. Covid wrecked everything lol.

I check autotrader, etc. occasionally. 35-37 is the mid range for gen 5. 8K with perfect paint certainly qualifies for mid range. It's the range my car was in when I got it. It was 5 yrs. old with 3K miles. I wanted it and I have no regrets. If you need to feel you got a great deal, maybe not.

My car is a 15 with recaros and the exposed carbon and with new tires but it has 24k miles on it. I have thought several times about selling it but it would have to be 37-38 before it would leave here. Also there are no dings or scratches or anything wrong with the paint. I am very anal about that being as perfect as it can be.

I got my mint 2013 ZL1 auto coupe this summer with sunroof, CF hood, CF trunk stripe, premium mats/trunk tray, suede package, Mild to Wild and new rubber with only 21,000km (or 13,000 miles) for $38,500 CAD which is equivalent to roughly $28,900 USD. Although I have no intention on selling it, I think I did well comparatively speaking.

Since I read this thread I thought I would look around at ZL1’s and my some are asking the moon!! Take a look at this one. Final price is at the bottom.

https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/1516949

They say on dealer fees ----never. That's because it is built into the asking price. Surely no one would pay that for that car? I never have tried to buy anything from them but I have been told the price you see is it, no haggle? Does anyone know if that is correct? Hell I would sell mine for that price! I will even beat their price by a grand!

If the pharmaceutical companies can make money hand over fist by training the masses to believe they have a pill for every inconvenience through heavy advertising, Carvana can convince the masses that top dollar for a car is worth the convenience. They will bring it to you! Who could ask for more?

I just picked up a 13 ZL-1. No Recaros in it for 30k. It has 14k on it . Has one small ding on hood I gotta get fixed , but other than that it's in excellent shape. Bought in July and got to wait till Oct. 19 for a DMV appointment to get tags

Dang why the long wait? Here you can go to the tag office anytime and tag a car.

Lol! You know my friend got on line with them to see what they would give for his truck and they lowballed the heck out of him. Every time I see there ads now it makes me think they have way below any book prices on the cars there selling.
