ProCharger

After purchasing my ‘15 Z w/ 13k and finding out I had gotten a lemon; had Lingenfelter rebuild the Ls7 to take boost -Jerry of “Jerry’s Speed” install and tune the P1X, the results were overall Sensational! Following a multitude of dyno runs and adaptive upgrades, resulting in 676 rwhp. Quite pleased with outcome 🤙🏼

Nice!
How was it a lemon (and more important, was it legally a lemon)?? What happened to it?

Before the factual reply,
I’m going to guess; valve/valve guide issue, titanium bits from the rods embedded into the bearings or you caught it early with the oil analysis metals being off the chart.

Yes and yes, both statements are correct.

So your saying you experienced the same big end rod wear ( coating failure on the Ti rods ) that the c6 zo6’s have? Being that our engines have diff rods (pankl) vs the c6 zo6 ( mahle) I was hoping this issue was resolved.

I’m not sure but did you switch the rod manufactures? I read it one other place and I thought ours had Mahle.
We got recalls on switchblade keys but heaven forbid GM recalls what is a known issue of valve guide angle and Ti rods in all ls7’s. I don’t want to rehash the corvette forum although there is good thoughts from them.

The z/28’s 100% got the pankl rods. Similar to the zr1 design. It’s even in the gm press release documents.
