Fuel

I have a 2012 ZL1 and I was in a hurry today and accidentally put 87 octane fuel in it. I was going on a trip and kept the RPMs below 3k and never ran it hard. I ran the tank until the low fuel light came on and filled her back up with 93. But my main question is did I hurt any thing?

Yep, that's true, but as long as you just cruised with it, it might not have even dropped down to the low octane table.

I stayed mainly around 2200 rpms with it and never got over 2800 until I got to fill back up with 93. What does it do when it switches to low octain table? I hardly drive this car it just clicked over to 5k miles. Just worried I damaged any thing running 87. It’s my baby lol

It wont go to the Low (Octane) Spark Table unless Knock Learn factor was present. Your computer needs to detect consistent knock for that to happen. Nothing to worry about.

What would make it have constant knock?

High load on engine @ moderate or wot typically. Quite normal for stock car every once and while.
