keep us informed
Yeah I pulled the parking brake while doing 50 MPH after it was already broken to see if it had any grab at all. I'd never pull that when it was working and I was driving. So it's not like I pulled it at 50 mph and did a drift...although it probably would have been fun.

BUT!

I went to the dealership this morning and the cable is indeed broken.

How it broke, I have no idea.

So no adjustment issues spike....like I had been saying.

on the contrary. I'm saying that some people would not feel any resistance when the brake was out of adjustment and would say it takes "no force" when in fact there is a slight amount of resistance.

Stop getting so technical on me.

Anyways, had a new issue arise this morning....in reverse and let off the clutch I hear a weird noise...go to first the same...start driving...get in third gear about 30 and let off the gas and i hear this grinding noise...(i have a video but I don't feel like uploading it)

Took it back to the dealership and they said a cable tie they used to hold some of the parking brake linkages was vibrating really close to the driveshaft and on some brace.

I guess he just put a new cable tie? I dunno.

I apologize for the frustrations you are continuing to experiencing. I would recommend going back to the dealership to see if they are able to pinpoint your concern. You can always ask them what exactly they performed on your vehicle.

while that definitely needs corrected... I've seen/heard worse. try a carrier bearing going out while towing a 13,000lbs trailer through the mountains...

Yeah, well that's a 13,000 trailer vs my little camaro.

But I dunno what made it do that after they messed with it...cause even when the cable was broken before I took it in it did not do that.

No....

this is the only time the cable has broken.

I'm saying when the cable was broken before I took it to the dealership I did not made that noise, then after they messed with stuff down there it started doing it.
