Wish you were out east, would love to take the Camaro on a road course (which I will probably do in the spring). I spend a lot of my time out east organizing high speed driving events for the Porsche Club of America.
I was at an event a couple of weeks ago at NJMP in New Jersey and someone had a 2SS in one of the middle run groups and the car handled o.k. with no suspension work. Evidently Pfadt products is releasing a coil over and sway bar kit for the Camaro that I am anxious to get more information on. I would like to lower the car by about an inch which the Pfadt suspension should accomplish. Once Brembo releases floating rotators plus a set of pagid brake pads and a set of "R" compound tires we will be ready to roll! |

Would love to but can't make it this year. Are you thinking of the road course at the Speedway or the track at Pahrump an hour west of Vegas? Did the school there a couple of times years ago. Awesome track with elevation changes and several corners modelled after Mosport. I'm sure they rent the track to various groups for track days.
Good luck. Hope it's a success. Cheers. |
