2017 ZL1 six piston calipers fit on my 2014 SS/1LE?

So I have an opportunity to buy a set of front calipers off a 2017 Zl1 and I want to do a brake upgrade on my 2014 1LE. Does anyone know for sure if the zl1 calipers would bolt up? Obviously I'll need new rotors and pads.

No, they will not bolt onto a 5th Gen. You need to get 5th Gen ZL1's.

My understanding is that they will fit but the rotors are a different offset.

5th gen ZL1's will fit with different rotors. 6th gen ZL1's will not fit on a 5th gen.

Camaro 6 guys said the 1LE caliper is the same as the c7 Z06 caliper. The C7 Z06 caliper goes on the camaro 5 no problem

Rotors are completely different offset. The two piece rings interchange. But you need a camaro 5 ZL1 rotor or at least the hat to put the rings on.

Yes they will work but think the ZL1/1LE are more akin to the Z28 calipers.

Hey guys, I know this is an old thread, but Reichler posted twice that gen6 2017+ ZL1 front caliper WONT fit a gen 5 camaro. I believe this is incorrect/wrong. Can you guys confirm?
I know that you have to change pads, hoses, and rotors (unsure which rotor to use to fit 2017 ZL1 front calipers onto a gen5 SS?).
THanks

I have Gen6 ZL1 calipers and rotors on my turbo car. They are essentially the same as Z28 calipers. The hats on Gen6 ZL1 rotors have a different offset, like by 10mm, so you have to solve that problem. I used hats from ZR1 carbon brakes with a bolt kit from KNS but the ZR1 hats are 2mm smaller than the Gen6 ZL1 hats and they are often hard to find. If you really want the 390mm brakes, use the Gen6 ZL1 caliper with GiroDisc Gen5 Z28 iron conversion rotors. They are a bit pricey around $1400, but the factory rotors are over $400 new and you will have a better setup. Use pads for a Gen6 ZL1 caliper; street pads are readily available on RockAuto. Obviously, track pads are available from numerous vendors.

The rears on a Gen6 ZL1 are the same as Gen5 SS/ZL1 calipers. They bolted right up and used the rotor I already had on the car.
