Ceramic coating removal
OK guys. A few months ago I did a ceramic coating on my entire car including the wheels. That stuff is GREAT. Makes cleaning a breeze. Now I decided to put some serious tire on the car and am concerned about the tape weights not sticking since I did the barrels of the wheels as well. So my question is, how do I remove the coating for the new weights?

Finishing polish will take it off. I'm sure you polished the car before applying your coating, so just use whatever finishing polish you have.
If you don't have a small polishing machine at your disposal, a foam wax application disc will work by hand.

Did you coat the back side of the wheel, the barrel i guess it could be called. ?
If not maybe the weights could go there.

^^ This. Ceramic coatings can be removed by abrasion.

Thanks guys. One guy told me I would have to wet sand it. I was hoping NOT to have to sand it.

Wet sanding is not needed! A light fine polish and a "soft" foam pad on a Dual Action (DA) polisher will remove a ceramic coating.
