Vert for Road Course?
Is the rigidity of the Vert good enough for Road Coursing? I figured if I am going to keep my SS I might as well get the ZL1 Vert.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm buying a ZL1 to race on a road course too, and just LOVE the convertibles. trying to figure out if I can have my cake and eat it too, or if I'm going to have to choose between having a convertible like I've always wanted, or the race car I need! Hopefully someone with more race experience can give us more insight... I mean after all, the S2000s and Miatas seem to be all over the place, and they are vertes, but I've never seen a corvette verte or verte SS on the track!

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

Goto the 2:29 mark. Sounds like good news.

Not an issue since most tracks will require you to put in a roll bar before allowing a convertible on there course. A tied in roll bar will increase the stiffness.
