That is exactly what I am saying.

Can't argue with that Tracy! Trifecta has been here forever and is an amazing product. We have to find out the results though!

REALLY...........that alone tells me I would stay with my current Trifecta Tune........

Haha yeah I know. If the tune is true on those gains on that dyno, the lock is worth it! Geeze those graphs put a smile on my face getting more power out of this little 6!

Ipf has offered lifetime tunes before. Can't say I know exactly how that worked though. As for locking your ecm for life I don't know about that either. But u know ill find out.

Thanks IPF. I heard from another thread that it is locked. Maybe they were talking about it being locked so any other tuning company can tune over it, unless you get the module back, then tune to stock, then use trifecta to tune your stock car.

Thanks for clearing that up

All of the tunes are stored on a server, the module is just the medium to transfer file from server to the vehicle... So your tune is held with IPF. The module allows you to access your tunes whenever you want, they can also tweak the tunes and upload them to the server foryou to access with the module for upload into the vehicle

Does it improve it for both "D" and "S" mode?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that to do ANY tuning you must be connected to the internet. Does that mean that in order to flash back to stock, you MUST be connected to the internet?

What I want to know is what happens if you lose Internet connection mid flash? I would hope the tune is stored in a temp folder on your computer so you're not pulling from the server and flashing concurrently.

The module connects to the internet, then it goes to the car and the car reads the tuner, no internet at the car. If you have a problem, just restart the process at he car.

So you connect to the Internet in your house, the tune loads to the module, then you can take the module with you in your car and the tune is stored on it so you can flash at any time without Internet? I'm genuinely asking if that's how it works, not trying to start a bashing contest or anything. I'm just curious if that's how it works.

Whatever tune you load into the module goes into the car, so yes you could load a tune and install it later, would need to connect back to the internet to get another tune, they are vin specific
