Been waiting a long time for prices to come down to a level that I think is a good deal. Found a red, no a/c car in Chicago at Chicago Motor Cars 14k miles on it. It has a Katech ZO6 stage 2 upgrade on the motor done last year. Got it for 42.5k. The previous owner of the car was Travis Green....anyone know him? Does anyone know anything about this car? I really want to talk to him to see what he did as far as rear diff fluid changes, brake fluid, transmission fluid...and see if he tracked it etc. I am a track day guy and won't be daily driving the car. Can't wait to get the car and take it to Fontana ASAP. I have my 305 GY F1R's ready and will buy the metallic sintered brake pads as well.

Congrats! The anticipation must be driving you nuts. There is nothing like buying a new fast toy. I'm sure you'll love it as much as the rest of the guys/gals here. One of the best track toys I have EVER had.

Car arrived! Holy shit....what a beast. Gonna be a close race with my SS on the track. So, used car and it shows up with brand new wheels and brake rotors....dealer disnt do it, I wonder how that happened?

I inquired about the car when i was searching for my Z/28.

This is the 2nd go around that this car was at this dealership (chicago motorcars). Car initially had 12K miles on it and sold, then re-appeared back at the dealership 3-4 weeks later with 14,XXX miles on it. Spoke to the dealer, he told me owner was a very good friend of his. Traded the Z/28 plus a Ranger Rover SUV (if I remember correctly) for a 2018 911 Turbo Porsche after a having the Z/28 for about a month.

I was going to fly out to look at the car but found a better deal (to me) on another Z/28. Also a heads and cam car.

congrats on the purchase! the previous owner is a friend of mine. car was taken care of & maintenance was always on-time with everything. i'll shoot him a message and let him know where his baby is going. car was never tracked / abused in any way.
