I love the smaller steering wheel and all the suede on the ZL1 myself and the car just looks like its pissed off at the world and ready to just devour anything in it's path. Chevrolet hit a grand slam with that car imo. Especially at that price point.
The ZL1 or the ZL1 1LE ?

That would be more than enough to handle any ZL1 and as a bonus, you get room for three more passengers and a much bigger trunk.

The Alpha based 6th gen is too compromised in rear seat leg/head room and trunk space.
The Demon would be lost in a track race. Nice car for drag, but can't come close to ZL1 1LE at the track.

Especially a track w/ trees around it.

Add good drift car to the list along with 1/4 mile performance.

The 6th generation is a huge step up all around, period. Comming from first hand experience having owned a 5th gen for many many years and now a 6th for a few years now. Thats just simple progression. Still have a soft spot for 5th gens and they are no joke of a car in their own right. As for other manufactures I can appreciate what they are all doing. They all have a package/trim level ect to satisfy anyone with almost any goal right from the factory. It truly is a great time to be a car enthusiast!
