can i start my car
I just finished installing a cam and whipple supercharger. Can I start the car to check for leaks? I wont be driving the car till I get my tune. thanks for any advice.

I would not as you probably installed injectors too. Get a base tune first and avoid possible overload of fuel etc.
Best to be safe When you make a lot of changes like that .. DynoSteve, Jannetty, Rhino79 from GPI are good resources to start with. There are many others but these folks do remotes tunes often... -Don

Agreed resist the urge, as you may cause damage to internals without proper tuning. Believe me it will be worth the wait. A base tune is needed by a reputable tuner to ensure everything will be ok.

I have a SCT tuner from Jannetty, he's going to write my tune. I also have a HP Tuner MPVI Pro Would like to learn how to tune.

i tune myself with HP Tuners Pro. Hugely rewarding and fun thing to learn how to do. Would encourage you to do this. Lots of help and learning over at the HP Tuners forum.
Jannetty can certainly help you out too. |
