Great photos guys! Thanks for posting.

We'll see what happens to the Chevelle. So far I've received tons of positive comments, but no buyers.

There are a couple methods to do this. My buddy posted this tutorial on another web site. I don't use the Easy Thumbnails software, but you may find it useful. Your photo has to be "hosted" online, such as on Photobucket.
http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...opics/179667/1

Another method is to download your photo onto this website. Look further down below the comment/reply box, below the "post icons", submit reply button, and preview button and look for Attach Files and click the Manage Attachments button. It will ask you to select a file (the photo) from your computer.

WTH. Are drag strips 1/8 or 1/4 mile. What the hell going on. I haven't been to a drag strip since the 70s.

As far as I know, there are 1/4 mile as well as 1/8 mile events...
For a couple of years now, the Pros (Nitro fueled cars) are timed over 1,000 feet, as opposed to 1320 ft. This was done to reduce the top speeds, as well as allow for a few extra feet for shutdown/slowdown.
I could be wrong on one or more of the above however... I haven't been to a National Event for about 5 years.

So, a street rod like a modified Camaro would run on 1/4 mile?

What class would a c5,Camaro run in?

John - That was our catch for the day. We caught our limit 40 Yellow Tail Snapper. We took them to a local restaurant and they cooked about 10 filets for us and we brought the rest home.

Headed to DAYTONA tomorrow for the Coke Zero 400 - Pics to follow! Dew it 88!!!

As far as I know, if you're not a pro, you'd compete in either a 1/4 or 1/8th mile race. I've never seen them mix them, so any single event will most likely be either 1/4 or 1/8th.

For a rundown of the classes that are used now, go to www.nhra.com
