Question on the factory 1LE/ZL1 Toelink bearings

I am looking to potentially make my own trailing arms and LCA's, I really like the OEM design. I have an OEM set getting shipped to me to screw around with but haven't looked at them yet. Based on the pictures, are the OEM joints just spherical bearings with a rubber seal to prevent contamination in the bearing? or is this rubber actually a little thicker that cushions the movement of the joint (if that makes sense)

Anyone know where I can source these bearings if they are available somewhere?

I don't think the bearing themselves are procurable as replacements, you have to replace the whole arm as a assembly.

Yes, I know. I must not have been clear in my post above, but my plan is to design and manufacture trailing arms from scratch and use a factory style spherical bearing on the portion that connects to the subframe. They seem solid enough and do not transfer a lot of noise compared to other solid mount pieces that i've come across.

Why not consider something from UMI Performance? I have their lower trailing arms and toe rods with no bushings, just the rod ends. They do what they need to and work fantastic for the money.
