My 2001 GT I used to own I ran longtubes without cats and a Bassani catback and it was throaty as hell. What makes these cars different? |

FYI, the catless pipe adds some tone, I wouldn't exactly call it raspy but its louder.

No problem, just added the American Racing X-pipe to my exhaust setup. I have an appointment on the 06/06/2014 to have everything installed and tuned. Will try my best to have a before and after video to show the difference with the exhaust.

thanks for the support guys, I'm glad so many of you like the headers. Let me know if you guys want me to change/add anything to them. I'm up for making them how you guys like them. (as long as they make big power) No tri-y

Are there dyno charts comparing the 1 7/8 vs the 2" headers on the same car?
I'm curious if any low-end power is lost with the 2" primaries. |

The 2 inch made more power and torque everywhere in the RPM range than the 1-7/8th and the 1-3/4th. And likewise the 1-7/8th made more power and torque everywhere in the RPM rang than the 1-3/4th. But it is becoming a popular thing to say that the 1-7/8th headers have more down low power and torque even tho data has shown otherwise. The ONLY downside to having the 2 inch headers is that some of them have fitment issues.

I just installed my tsp 2"headers and I love the power and sound is sweeet but Im one of the unlucky ones the steering driveshaft knuckle is hitting one of the primaries. I tried putting a dimple on it with them installed but I think Im going to take it off and dimple it unless one of you guys can give me another idea i already heated it with the mapp torch and tried a prybar I almost got it but not quite still I think theyre great

2" is the way to go in any combo. Bolt Ons on up!! For someone to suggest that they will make you loose lowend power vs a 1 7/8 header is cow manuda! My car has ran them both and I went faster with 2"! And they are the SAME PRICE! You can't beat that.

Adding a merge spike and rear o2 bung on the 2" can only make them even better - keep us posted.

I just bought a set of these Thursday bolted them on Friday and everything went well just made my car louder than I thought but other than that they are good!!!! But one thing I cant seem too understand is the O2 senser deal cause I unplugged the ones that goes to the top of motor which I think is the upsteam then I unplug the ones that was down steam close to trans I was told that I was suppose to get a extended cord to plug in the O2 senser but the ones I got goes to the back ones not the upsteam like I was told so I plugged up the back and didn't use the extended cause the stock stuff was long enuff.....

No, you'll see your gains higher up towards the top of RPMs.
