Smile NITTO NT555 G2 TIRES.

Hello my Camaro family, just bought a set of these 315x35x20 for the back of my 2011 SS and was wondering those of you sporting these tires how do you like them. I had Conti Extreme contact DWS06's on there and they didn't do the trick, didn't last as long as the original Conti Extreme Contact's I had previously, they changed the compound and just didn't perform like the old ones.
I saw where a few of you all were running these Nittos and decided to give them a shot. I am modded and putting 405 to the rear wheels.

Thanks guys and gals..

I'd like to hear your review as you try them out.

Your car automatic or manual?

Hello Royal Tiger, yea my Camaro is an auto that has ben tuned and modded and putting 405 to the wheels. We will see how they do. I saw where silversurfer was running them and he said he would buy them again, and I know he is modded as well and is on here all the time, so I went with his recommendation..Stay tuned for more..

I just ran a set of 285/35-20's on 20X10 MRR M017 wheels at Sebring International in HPDE. I'm impressed with them, especially as I'm still trying to predict tire pressures based on initial weather and increases during the day as I worked through 4 sessions each day. They never felt greasy even late in the day in Florida low 90 degree temperature with fairly high humidity. The car felt good on them and while I was able to get rid of more of the under-steer by going to 20X10 from the RS staggered wheels, the car felt planted around all of Sebring.

Not a bad tire for the money I run them them on my 5th gen 6spd man making around 600rwhp, I can still break them loose when I get heavy on the boost doing a second gear pull even with the tire pressure dropped down to 28psi. I was thinking about getting the NT555R's but I don't feel like changing tires every 5000k. Ya I got a heavy foot.
