First oil change question
When does everyone recommend first oil change?
what does dealer say?

There's a sticky thread for this. I didn't follow it to the T. But pretty much get that crap out of there at 1500miles. I'd say use your own discretion but there is definitely a break in period for this car.

Change all those bad boy fluids!
 My oil had lots of metal particles in it around 1500 miles. My Diff fluid was murky, the trans fluid looked ok...many threads on changing, torque values, amounts...

Your DIC (if you have it) will tell you when your oil life is up. FYI - Chevrolet puts "special" break-in oil in all new vehicles, so I am waiting to change mine. I figure they know what they're doing with regards to keeping my engine performing to it's potential - I want to trust Chevrolet. ;-)

^ I was wondering the same thing. The DIC should tell you when to do that. The DIC in my TSX has been very dependable, and I am sure the Chevy did it right in the Camaros too.

Dealer said they put an additive in the oil and you should change it at 3000 miles.There is something in it to break in the engine.

Im at 1350 miles.. guess I'll change at 1500miles.. change all the fluids, oil, tranny and diff?

I changed mine at 1,400 and again at 2,900. With synthetic I'll go every 5,000 or so from now on, no matter what the DIC says.
