No drone with it, or at least nothing to bother me. It is very close to the NPP 2-1/2" system I had on the car before with sound and volume, but a little deeper tone. I went 3" over 2-1/2" to reduce backpressure. I do think it has helped and also allows more air so the turbos spool faster. The Speed Engineering system isn't overly pristine quality stuff, nor bad. The finish is good but if neglected (like what I do), it may start to show pitting (don't care). I did have to replace one bullet muffler as one got a rattle in it that pestered me - found a cheap set someone was selling as they wanted just the piping in their setup (win-win). The T-band clamps to install the setup are total shit. What I did was get everything where I wanted it and had spot welds to tack it all together; much better.
