I have a 2014 L99 and Im almost at about 49k miles. I have been having a issue for like the past week with the transmission. Whenever I try to put the car in park it does not fully engage and I cannot take the key out of the ignition even when the shifter is in the park position. I usually have to turn the car back and and try moving it from drive to park several times until i hear the usual click noise when park is engaged and then i can turn my car off and finally remove the key.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this issue?

Are you sure your steering wheel isn't turned slightly causing your key not to come out ....this happens to me on occasion and is very common.
