Don, Do you have a pic somewhere of where and how those dual aeroforce gauges are mounted?

Just read through all of the early pages in preparation for my build weekend starting tomorrow - needless to say this is the best guide out there for L99 engines, so thank you very much for the detailed thread. Maybe someday I will have enough time to read through all 139 pages to see if there is any other good stuff in this gigantic thread!

Did my track prep 'death check' to make sure things are ready to go.
Had to tighten up the oil cooler hose a bit more, torqued the lug nuts, check all the suspension bolts, lubed the heim rod ends, checked the diff bushings -- wait a minute: By drive shaft: Did those appear to 'slide' a bit? Yep. Took a pry bar on the tail of the diff and slid it back -- which also fixed the front bushing by the drive shaft -- now, this just happened 'after' the last track day as prior to that, nothing moved. I'll need to contact Hendrix and see if he's ever seen this before -- may have to create a 'spacer' to keep it 'tight'... Here it is back in place: By Drive Shaft: I'm for sure going to keep and eye out for this one. First time for everything... GPI pressed these in and I know they were installed dry, that torque must be kicking it! -Don

Delrin... I have a plan to solve it but, will want to hear from Thomas first. It looks like a lot, but I did a close up shot. It took some leverage to push it back in.
~ 800 RWTQ hits pretty hard ;o)... -Don

I'm still waffling between the A-pillar pod and air vent pod. Problem with the A-pillar pod is I can't seem to find a good enough picture that tells me how close it looks to the original a-pillar cover and haven't seen one in person to tell if I want that or the vent pod. How is visibility of your gauge setup while sitting in the seat? |

Dragonman,
Have you considered this option? It's a nice piece. It's actually a GM oem vent 'plasti-welded to a pod.

OK, Thomas got back to me and said, 'Never scene it before'. Once again, I'm the first ;o).
What I'll need to do is get some Delrin and cut out a spacer so I can prevent it from moving. I have an idea and now will be looking for a small piece of Delrin so I can keep the LPW from moving on the bushing.... -Don

Decided to make a support bracket for the intercooler tank. Wanted to make sure it had enough support in the rear:
Just to be safe ;o) Headed out to get a better sized bolt... -Don

I wasn't until I saw Don's setup for those dual Aeroforce gauges. Who makes them and who sells them?
