Front door armrest replacement question

Do you have to disassemble the entire door panel to replace the armrest? I can't see any way to remove it without removing the plastic silver ABL lighting trim piece that is attached to the door panel. Thanks.

It's part of the door panel. You could probably separate it, but not sure how it would work to reinstall into the door panel.

Reinstalling the door panel isnt that hard. Really all you need is a screw driver and a trim removal tool. Hardest part is lining up the clips correctly. Took me about 10 min to take it off and get it back on

I'm talking about putting arm rest back into the panel, not the panel back onto the door.
