This^^^. That's why I went back to stock until I can afford to do it right. The drone was making me hate driving the car and it was right at the sweet spot of 70 mph. That's why I tell people don't judge an exhaust by the sound clips which are usually just a short acceleration clip or revving up in the driveway.

Ah yes...here we go again...

Put the stock mufflers back on....LOL

Best setup in my opinion, catless longtubes, x-pipe, stock mufflers. Sounds nasty at WOT, great at idle, ZERO drone...

Speed Engineering longtubes - $350
Summit X-pipe - $100

Done.

Borla isnt known to have drone. Are you an l99 and if so are you talking about the afm engaging? J pipes shouldnt be needed on the better catbacks.

i have the magnaflow cat back afm tuned out and i like it. very little to no drone i took it of my ls3 car it was awesome on the ls3 okay on the l99.

the main part of the magnaflow that helps the drone is the resonator x pipe. technically the magnaflow in the link has 3 mufflers

Yup, adjustable J-pipes from Solo solved my drone nightmare as well.
