So, how many people have painted their engine cover? I had my buddy that painted the stripes on my RJT paint the engine cover also. It may not be for everyone, but it will definately catch your eye.

I got the painted engine cover on my RJT as well and I like it!

I did mine and if you can get the fuse lid and airbox and pipe done it really all comes together. I also hid some leds around the engine compartment so the engine glows. Also come up with something for the bow tie in the heat blanket on the hood and you really have an eye catcher. It looks great like it is but the judges like details if you want to show. Also get the sonagram image off this site it makes a great cover for my "baby book", the moms love it. Its full of everything I could use off this site and my workbench, window sticker, etc. huge hit.

I went with the IOM engine cover from GM
Looking to accent other pieces and would like to redo the hoses.
