I've had it in my pickup for 6 years and love it.

YES, I'll certainly keep it in the Camaro when it comes due. Besides, I'll get a hefty second radio discount on the Camaro to boot.

Yeah, looking at it that way,
you have rabbit ears on your TV, why pay cable when you can watch pubic access for free , sorry, you said it makes no sense, anyways, I have a Ipod too, but for $77.00 per year someone like me that puts 150+ miles on a day it's a nice addition.

My trial period ended, and never heard a word from XM. I had XM before, and did not think it was worth it, and their customer service sucks, so I had already decided not to renew. However, their failure to even contact me about renewing just affirmed my decision to go without.

Are you sure they don't just go to automatic billing after the trial? That's how most free trials are - you have to call and cancel or you get billed for it. I took the time to call them and cancel last week and he said it would stop the next day, but I still have XM so I'll just watch my bank statements for any billing at this point. I've heard their customer service sucks moose balls (quite a graphic in my mind's eye i must say) so we'll see how long I get free XM OR whether they try to continue billing me beyond my cancellation date.

I feel most Pepole are so used to Poor Quality Music becuase of ipods and cell phones that XM sounds good to them. But sice I dont have an ipod and I'm old school and have a really nice hifi at home XM is just to good enough to pay for.

Got my first XM in '03 DTS. Had it in all cars since (currently 3 cars in acct).
Personally, no fan of that 12 yr. old Stern, but will keep "pure XM" until Sirius puts him on XM --- then will drop like a hot potato.

Of course, everyone is different, so if it doesn't make sense to you -- don't get it. I listen to about 15 minutes of regular radio per year with XM in the car.

Or just the Camaro........ it makes sweet sounds!

I don't even listen to my radio while driving, so I let it expire.

Its kind of a cool option but rarely used it during the free trial so let it run out. I use my iPod, or listen to one of the local rock stations most of the time. Plus since having most of my mods done I find myself driving with the radio off allot just listening to the roar of the engine which is good enough for me.

Signed up for the $20/5-month deal. It's a good way to find new music that you normally don't hear on the regular radio

Did not renew. When the trial period was over, had no more XM. Didn't even have to call them.

IDK, paying for radio whens its free. True you do get to hear many stations, but I rarely can't find something on the radio I don't like ., If I did just pop a cd in.

I have about 1500 songs on my flash drive that is always in use. XM keeps sending me "deals" to try....the lastest I got offered was 5 months for $20. I may call them and ask for 6 months for $20 and see what they say. I'm about to take a road trip and it would really suck to have the flash drive go out on me.
