I thougt those were for the fetsival and race. Are they already for sale?

Those are the first 19 Festival cars of the 50. They will be for sale after the race and more collectable.

Good luck on the Indy dealers. I contacted several and the best I could do was #6 on one dealers waiting list. They indicated they were only allocated 4 last year and don't expect more than that this year. I did manage to secure one locally and have a deposit on it. I would contact numerous dealers in your area, that is what I did.

I've tried them all. Also called 12 others around the US. none available. Found one locally No one new of, got down to sign papers, broke out check book to write dep. and then he dropped the bomb on me. Higher ups said they wanted min. 20 over sticker. Walked away from it and then he said it will go on ebay Friday. When I offered 3 over they said "We see a opportunity to make money because of only 500 built. Needless to say still looking for one. Have a chance on a 2010 festival car, not sure what to do.

how much do you think the festival cars will be? will they be at sticker or under?

Saw paper in his file for the car, it said manual trans was 47,800 and auto was 48,800. Not sure if thats correct.

Ordered mine with a manual trans thru a family member who is a finance manager at a large dealer in the South. Made a deal at MSRP and I was told to expect delivery sometime in the late spring. I tried to buy locally but the dealer wont sell the one they are being allocated - the owner is keeping it for himself. Every other dealer I called in my region wants 10-15K over sticker.

I have been searching for the last month, the only ones that seem to be left are on ebay, just 2 weeks ago most of the dealers in Indy were selling them at sticker as supply dwindles the price goes up. These are proving to be much more sought after then the 2010 being there convertibles and look more like the 69 pace car (except those strips, come on CHEVY!) Anyone still holding one now is just waiting to see how much over sticker they can get. I know a collector that paid 20K over for a manual, as there only making 100, CRAZY!

There will be plenty out there at MSRP... Last year only 294 were built and they were still available months after.

Looks like TPW for a bunch of these is 4/4/11 so they should be hitting the streets 1st of May.

Not sure what you and that monkey are smokin but you cant compare this years pace car to last years Orange coupe, time will tell but my money is on the 2011 convertible being the blue chip investment in 30 years and nobody remembering the 2010, and I'll bet the farm there will be no car's left in June unlike the 2010 that you can still find at dealers for under invoice

I'll sit back, wait and enjoy mine in the meantime.

LOL... I know of two right now I can buy at MSRP with TPWs already assigned... no takers yet... I didn't buy my car as a collectors item to put away and never drive or mod so take all the cracks you want... no biggie to me which one is more collectable.

There was an automatic with a buy it now for $54,xxx that wasn't bought. That would be in the $6k over ball park. They didn't re-list it, so I assume they negotiated a deal with one of the bidders.
