My experience with Classic Sugarland

Disclaimer:
I was referred to Classic in Sugarland via this forum. If not for Camaro5 I wouldn't have even known this dealership as they are new to the houston area.

So here's how it all went down:

From the begining of this whole ordering fiasco I was commited to only placing an order if I could see in writing that my Supplier Discount would be honored. I didnt care if it took 6 weeks or 6 months. After talking to most of the dealers in the Houston area with no luck I was feeling pretty down about the whole situation. I certainly wasn't going to pay OVER MSRP (never considered it) and I felt deserving of the discount that GM says I qualify for.

2008 became 2009. Winter became Spring. My wedding was fast approaching on May 9. My schedule begain to be more and more full and I had less and less time to Camaro hunt.

Enter Classic Chevy and Joe M.

Joe allowed me to jump on an existing dealership stock order of my choosing with a commitment to honor supplier discount....with only a $500 deposit at that.

Keep in mind that Classic is now located where Bill Heard (#1 source for 911 calls in the area) USED to be.

Classic is turning the reputation of Chevy dealerships around in the area. I already sent a buddy of mine to buy a Traverse...he was VERY impressed.

Joe will take care of you. My experience at Classic was great.

Supplier discount honored. No haggling. No pressure. Simple answers to simple questions.

The guys are first rate. My credit union Financing was more of a PITA to deal with!

In closing...these guys have earned a customer for life...as long Chevy continues to supply them with kickass vehicle for me to buy and I've got the money to do it!

Here's a pic of my car on thier showroom floor...front and center!

Good to hear it was a great experience! Classic Sugarland is where I plan to go when I am ready because I don't want to become another camaro buying horror story.

Classic Sugarland and Joe M. are great. The wife and I stopped by on Friday afternoon to check out the Camaros on the lot. What do you know we couldn't find any! Joe took us over to the service center where several were getting PDI. We got to see an RJT, ABM, IBM, SIM, and breifly an IOM. The ABM is striking in person - pictures do not do it justice. My wife is sold on the RJT, but not the one we saw. As of Friday the RJT SS was still available!

Thanks Joe!

My wife and I placed our order today with Joe at Classic Chevrolet in Sugarland and we are very excited. The ordering process only takes about 20 minutes and is straightforward. I also got to check out a new Grand Sport, very cool. The wait begins...

I ordered from Classic Chevy In SugarLand also!!! I had a pretty good experience with the order process, not the best but they do have a customer for life. I ordered a 2LT RS auto transmission with grey interior in Aqua blue metallic on 9/14/09 im @ 3000 as of today.(Info from VIZ) I got it ordered at MSRP. How can I get discounts and what are they? Is classic offering the $500 rebate if we decide to not do the 60 day return thing?

Can some one please tell me
