$4700 ON LABOR FOR LSA INSTALL??

VVT DOD DELETE WITH CAM INSTALL $1000 (10 HOURS)
HEADER INSTALL $400(4HR)
LSA INSTALL $1500 (15HRS)
ICE TRUNK TANK INSTALL $300 (3HRS)
ZL1 PUMP AND DSX AUX PUMP $600 (6HRS)
CYLINDER HEAD MACH SHOP $400 (4HRS)
TUNE $500

TOTAL 4700

Is this over priced? Since the LS3 intake and front accessories are coming off anyways. The mechanic would just be placing lsa parts in replace the ls3 parts?I understand it may take a little more work but 15hrs?

Doesn't seem unreasonable. Might as well do flexfuel while you have everything apart.

The dsx aux pump is for the flex fuel.

I don't mind paying, I just don't want to pay more than I should have to.

I think you are getting a lot done for the money. This is only true if they stick to this price and not try for more after.

Everything seems reasonable except the lsa install. I don't see how it could possibly take 15 hours to bolt on a supercharger and brackets

Agreed, 15hrs for the LSA install, in addition to the rest is excessive. Should be more like 5hrs (or less), IMO.

I could see 15 hours (still seems like a stretch) for just the LSA install by itself, if that was the only work being done. I've done the LT4 conversion on an LT1 Corvette, a bit more involved than the LSA conversion on the L99, and that didn't take more than 15 hours in total.

Yeah, LSA install price is high. They are already doing most of the work with the DOD. I did all of that (except I did meth tank) myself and the LSA kit install after all the rest is much less time. You’re also paying for a full tune so, normal install with tune for LSA kit is ~$1200-$1300.

Just my humble opinion...
