Who has modified their lighting ports on the grille? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I have been thinking about doing the ZL1 conversion on my V6, but I’m really not a fan of fog lights and the whole conversion is a little confusing. Anyway, instead of paying $150+ on lighting and harnesses to make it work I figured I spend the money on fixing up those ports. Originally I thought about installing the fog light bezels and just putting mesh over the holes but that may be tacky; if they had foglight covers like the LS base models have I would do that but unfortunately haven’t heard of any. I also checked out the TL1 Dual Ports which look awesome but don’t seem worth $429. Has anyone came up with a custom solution that doesn’t involve any lighting?
