if the thread is OK, you might be able to jack it up, remove wheel, rent spring compressor and compress spring. when compressed, you might be able to add a new 2nd nut and add a bit of loctite. to keep it from spinning, you might be able to stick some pliers on top just to get the 2nd nut on. if the spring is compressed, it should go on fairly easy.

The one struts I replaced just have 1 large nut (nylock) on top, instead of 2

How did the threads snap off anyway? I've removed and reinstalled struts on my car about 2 times so far, once for springs, once for new struts. I am surprised you were able to snap the top off like that. There is a spot for the torx bit in the end of the strut which you use to stop the shaft from spinning while you tighten/loosen the nut, I guess that might make that area a bit weaker.

Glad to hear you have a new strut on the way to get her fixed.

Also, yeah my front end makes noise too, it got a little bit worse with Koni struts, I believe it's because of the design of the stut, most cars the top of the strut is bolted to the strut tower, but ours is somewhat free floating.

Well my first problem I know now is I used a torque bar and I didnt use any wrench or anything for the top just started turning..lol
The noise I am getting comes from the right side only and there is no way it can be normal. It makes the car very loose going over bumps and stuff. The guy that is going to work on my car says he thinks I have bad struts since the guy lowered the car before me didnt change them or anything.

Everyone makes mistakes, a bigger one would be driving it broken. At least it's a somewhat cheap fix, and as long as you learn from it, it's not a waste. If you want to feel a little better watch a short Honda film called Failure The Secret To Success

Lowering will reduce the struts life but usually a small drop will not affect much. I get that noise as well it's normal and annoying, it's more pronounced when turning on the down ramps at work.

Well I bought the car already lowered. I dont really want any noise or play in the steering when I drive. Not sure if you guys saw my videos I posted of the noises but there is no way everyone has that kind of issue with their camaro, even after lowering it. There would be much more talk about it I am sure. ??
