I agree that's it's Rick's Camaro's fault also. It as become the norm for many a internet seller of parts (that also has a catalog) to be a 3rd party admin for stuff. When I was building my 67 camaro, I bought massive amount of parts from "Rick's First Gen Camaro" when it was independently owned was specialist for 1st gen only. Now that thet are part of the Eckler's group, ya think when an order is placed, they could state in-stock -vs- direct ship from supplier.

I also like the looks of these lights, as looking myself ....many other sellers websites state severe back order. Must be very popular!

They are VERY popular.

Last summer there was a 6 month waiting list.

I waited 4 months for my first set last year and almost 3 for my second set this year.

Saved 15% off the first set and 20% off the second so it was worth the wait.

On an unrelated note... I'm on a regular, one-man crime spree.

I get pulled over a couple of weeks ago for no headlights.

Just over an hour ago I get pulled over just north of Cedar Falls for no front plate. Must have been a slow day for the State Patrol.

Anyone else want to join me in this spree?

The Trooper was really cool about it, but let me know I needed to remedy the situation or next time it would not be a warning.

FYI... It was only a warning. In Iowa, for no front plate, the fine is $87 and it's NOT a moving violation.

I hear ya the one man crime spree! I'm in the similar situation, one of my other cars is "marked" for having tinted windows. While as I get "equipment violations", the fines now are at $135 each

I decided to remove the tint from my Dodge 3500 as when I'm pulling my car trailer, the weight falls in the new USDOT rules.

Any issues with these? The lights do a lot of cool things. Another person in a thread stated his battery dead due to the show mode somehow came on when he was not home (car in garage) Another reply tp that was that a ground to activate it ...had touched??

Urg, I may have to cancel my plans for the car show in Waterloo this coming Sunday. Looking at KCRG it looks like it will rain both saturday and sunday, but who really knows since it is so far out. Either way though, I won't be able to make it now as my uncle is visiting from colorado. I can probably count all the times I have seen him on my two hands so for me it would be nice to see him again. For everyone else that is going...have fun and enjoy.

No issues. I have mine on a switch like recommended.

He either left his switch on or had the ground wire loose.

He'd have to be blind not to notice. They are BRIGHT!!! Even in Show Mode. He must have left them on for days too since they draw barely any current.

Burnsy, the show is rain or shine. Your car isn't going to melt.

Bring your uncle along. He might enjoy the show. If not, he can at least donate some money to the casino. :-)

Ken and I were out tearing up CF/Waterloo again tonight. We kind of randomly met up on University then decided to cruise around a bit. We swung by your place James but all the lights were off so we didn't stop. The best part is we never saw a cop. Haha.
