Went 1-2 yesterday at the track with co-driver
Did another autocross at New Era field in Buffalo. I brought a career drag racer friend of mine out. He's never done anything like this before, but I knew he'd adapt and do well. We went 1-2 in Novice Stock and our times also beat everybody in Novice Modified. I think he's hooked for good now! he spun it out 360 degrees but it didn't dampen his spirit. At the end he was 1.5 seconds off of me, but comfortably in 2nd. Here's a few in car videos:
This is a fast run but I just tagged a cone. My fastest overall run was a 41.0 Here's my friend. Notice his excitement at the end lol:

Great Job, looks like you were both having fun.
Hats off to your drag race buddy for being open minded, most can't get over the fact that there more to life than a 10 sec pass and loads more seat time. Keep it up! |

Totally! Im ex-drag racer myself. But about mid way through my street/strip LT1 car I was getting more and more into twisties. On my last full out trailer drag car third gen...I lost almost all interest. Here I am now..
