The Canadian guy with the big thread on TH400 swap. Said he ran a mid 9 super easy and should dial in to 8's. That will be our first 8sec Camaro5. This is the most done up 'drag' type car I think we have. All the others are just fast street cars.

I have a M/T guy who hit 9.9x but it took him a while to get there. Interesting he is on SS rear with 3.91's and a trutrac, on 18's. He uses our MPH switch to the boost controller to kick in full power right after the car hit's 3rd.

At least 3 4L80 car's in the 9's but those guys don't even go back to the track anymore. Lot's of that honestly, guys who don't want to put all the safety tech in the cars. Couple guys this forum keep things super down low but are making serious money on the street scene.

I will likely run a 9 on 20's here in a couple weeks. Car has gone 10.30's with a 1.9 60' at 146. Without a progressive boost controller it's tricky to have the right boost in 1-2-3-4 gears.

Are your runs at 21psi max like your dyno? 146 is pretty good

No, that was about 860whp at 18psi. Have not ran on high boost yet. Hoping for around 150mph.

The owner use to be on here. It's a 416, twin disc clutch, stock trans, stock drivesahft, stock SS rear with 3.9'1s and a trutrac. Said he shifts early out of first so it will not hit 2nd too hard. Then right after shifting to third the car goes full boost and runs over 140 traps. Total streetcar on stock shocks, brakes, axles etc. Pump gas 875ish whp.

What's your setup? That's a killer time for leaving with no boost.

Autos kick arse for racing and launching. If one is serious, that's the way to go. Then there's the "cool guys" who think they can launch a manual....

I know the Canada guy got his to work with the TH400 but I don't think I will be able to fit the kit around this trans brake solenoid?

Forged 370" truck block, prc lsa heads, ljms cam, e85. Agp twin 62mm, Jakes 4l80 w/circle d converter

Car made 844/750 at this boost level but I was blowing through the converter. Only made 1 pass which was the 10.07. Have a new converter this year so plan to go sub 9.50s off the Trans brake/2 step full weight. New converter is a triple disc so the mph should increase significantly.

I could tell from your other post with your slip that your converter had a lot of slip. What 62mm turbos?
