How Low can you drop before scraping?

I’m trying to decide between the BMR 1” and the 1.2” springs. Anyone here running the 1.2” springs? How is ground clearance going over speed bumps?

Here in Indiana, speed bumps vary a great deal. I have some areas without issues, and in some areas, I have to avoid all together. I have a 1.5 drop. If you have a lot of speed bumps in your area, stick with the 1" drop.

I guess it depends on if you have driven lowered cars or not. I have the BMR 1.25" inch drop and its not bad but you still have to angle over steep driveways and some speed bumps.

I had a Fox Mustang that was lowered about 1.75 inches, so definitely used to lowered cars and how they drive. I’m fairly new to the 5th gen Camaros though. I don’t mind the lowered ride, just don’t want to scrape up my undercarriage.

You should be fine with a 1.2" drop then. I've done fairly decent with scraping until I got long tube headers and now the connection flange for the high flow cats scrape everything.

Cool thank you for the input. Staying away from long tubes for now, because California.

Yeah, 1-1.2” is fine. You may get occasional scrapping but not bad.

You can scrape your shit at stock height if not careful. If you are familiar with being lowered, like you say...you know it's as simple as paying attention and knowing to avoid certain places.
Good luck.

Like stated above, just be careful and you'll be OK. I'm lowered 1.25 in the front and 1" in the rear.
