They're getting cheaper. There is a place that i ran across at CES that might work. I'll see if i can find their cards tomorrow.

You need to start a kickstarter project so that, you can procure the necessary funds to get this line up and running.

Have you looked into that yet?

That's the second time that's been mentioned to me... I've actually thought about it, but I didn't think there would be enough interest. A large amount of $$ would certainly speed things along, but I had never wanted to do a "pre-order" because it seems like 90% of them I see on here for new products other vendors are doing all seem to end badly with a bunch of pissed off people... I've also been trying to do this the entire time without borrowing money and going into debt to do it... Probably not the best, and definitely not the fastest way to go about it, but I'm not loosing any sleep about the consequences that could arise in a worst case scenario.

If it wasn't such a ridiculously expensive design to easily, and cost effectively reproduce, they could be been on the market a long time ago. I'm also pretty picky about a lot of it as I'm sure most of you that have read the entire thread have picked up on, the quality of the parts, has constantly gotten better as time went on, and as such, so has the cost to produce it.

I wouldn't do it either. Involving others will take some of the wind out of your sails once it's all said and done.

It has been a long time since I talked to Jason about this. I think it was going be hard to make the perfect system at a price point where enough people would buy it and he still be able to make a profit.
