High pitched noise, belt issue? (Video Inside)

Getting this weird high pitched noise at about 4000+ RPM free revving or on load, doesn't matter. Anyone know what it is? Could it be a belt issue? I saw the belt vibrating a bit when it made the noise like this.

Vibrating like this:

Here is my car and the sound I am having:

So here is my car (guessing this is the issue?):

Any input appreciated! Thanks!

I had a similar noise with my ZL1. I thought it was a belt as well, but after quite a bit of troubleshooting with the dealership, it was narrowed down to an issue with the bearings in one of the pulleys.

Ya that sounds like a very plausible issue with mine, will be taking it to dealership and see if they can figure it out.

Only have HFCs and AFE air filter, no tune.

Any input appreciated! Thanks!
gmorcos3,

My apologies regarding your Camaro's high pitched noise. Although I understand your displeasure, it's great that you'll be proactively reaching out to your dealer for an official diagnosis. Keep us in the loop and updated on your service visit. If necessary, I can contact the dealer's Customer Experience Managers if you have additional questions. We'll look forward to your updates .

So just picked up my car from the dealer and they replaced the crankshaft balancer and belts and I am not hearing any more high pitched noises but looking under the hood and revving like I did before they fixed it, it looks pretty similar. Should the belt be vibrating like the last video I posted? I am happy that the noise is gone but am not sure if it is still normal.

Thanks!

So the noise came back, nothing has changed on the car.

Any other suggestions?

I'm assuming it's something with the pulleys or tensioner as the sound went away when they changed the balancer so is there any way to check which pulley or if the tensioner is broken?

Dealer said it was a bad air filter and dirty throttle body. They changed the air filter and cleaned the throttle body but the noise still remains...really starting to think it is a belt/pulley issue but they don't think so. Any input appreciated.
Thanks!
