Well, just to make sure I had all my bases covered, I scored this new 1320 today... maybe I should start buying some more cars to put all these superchargers on?

Well, I can't say that this isn't going to happen, but it's never going to make it into my car. I bought a G8 GT yesterday, and will be demodding my Camaro to sell sometime in the next few months.

I do plan to keep my extra LFX engine at the moment so as time permits, I may still try to come up with a bolt on setup for one of the 3 superchargers I have... I may end up putting the engine in a rat rod I'm (slowly) starting to build.

I've got one more non-supercharger related trick up my sleeve for the LFX to try out before I send the Camaro down the road. Time will tell if it's a worthwhile trick or not.

Well, don't go anywhere. I want to see what you come up with for the G8.

My winter project...

I'll still be around. Probably won't make anything myself for the g8, it's all been done before. Just buy it off the shelf.

G8's are nice. I bought a sweet PBM '09 GT with 10K miles on it for my wife back in July. It's been great. You'll love it.

I wanted an SS until I saw the almost $50K price tag. I have no regrets about saving $25K for almost the same car. My only complaint is the stereo but that can be fixed.

I really wanted a 15 M6 SS, but after a lot of though, even though I could technically afford it, I didn't think it would be financially responsible at the moment to buy (finance) one... I started looking at GXP's and they're still priced around new Camaro prices for the most part. After a little more serious thought, I decided a G8 GT would suffice, and I can throw a little bit of $$ at it and waste damn near any NA SS or GXP for a fraction of the cost of either.

I'll be selling most of my Camaro parts horde, to include all of LF3 parts if anyone is interested in anything I might have (including the audi blower )

I'm pretty happy with the car so far... It's pretty nice to be able to turn my head when changing lanes and actually see something again.

I'm sure you looked into the car and know about the major mods. It responds similar to a Camaro in many aspects.

The main thing I'm doing to mine for the wife is brakes. I'm completely spoiled with the 6/4 Brembo setup I have.

The first gen CTS-V brakes are a bolt on up front and with a little bit of adapting you can do the rears. All using Camaro rotors.

There is the possibility of using the new SS rear rotors too.
