I love mine. They look great and fit perfect. I'm building on a budget, why spend $1300 when you can spend $480 total (headers and Cats) for the same result. I know I know buy American. I work hard just like everyone else here, I'm just a good steward of my money.

What high-flow catalytic converters are usable with the speed engineering headers? I currently have the 3" corsa ZL1 exhaust - so I'd need a 3" diameter output on the cat. They seem rather hard to find.

They should bottleneck down to 2.5" for the cats, unless you custom ordered them from corsa.

I didn't make those prices up, they are right off their website.
You need to remember that with the exchange rate of our dollar and the unreal shipping costs to get parts here in Canada, it makes a big difference for some people.
I did buy those exact "Green Hi-Flows". Goes to show the massive mark up on some parts. I paid $300 each CDN$$, website is over $1100 US $$ plus shipping. Unfortunately, even if I had "shopped" it around some more and managed to knock off $600 I would have still spent more than twice as much.
Don't get me wrong, I understand and respect your position/loyalty to the brands you sell, I wouldn't expect anything less.

Since installing my headers and cats (cam too) I have driven several thousand miles. Zero issues so far, only re-torqued once after the first week. Been really enjoying the new sound and power. If an issue ever comes up, I will be the first to say and then place an order with you

Thanks for your insight
Pretty much all manufacturers sell at full retail and allow their dealers to sell lower. They want their dealers to handle the sales and customers for them.

Yep you're correct. Do all cats come with 2.5" neckdowns? I saw stainless works and Kooks both neckdown - I'm assuming for factory exhaust connection.

It seems like a restriction, unless the velocity of the exhaust needs to be increased.

TSP's 1 7/8" on the way (Friday!!) due to they having in-stock a set of 3" off-road connector pipes to mate up to my 3" (no neck down magnaflow termination) cat-back.

Speed Engineering.. did not have such a thing and I would have to source elsewhere. I paid for convenience.

I'll be going the Cheap route. Don't care what nobody says it's a Camaro. A nice decent car that Chevy has stepped it up and done a good job on. It is not a Ferrari so I won't be breaking to bank to get $1500 headers bc of the name. I realize some guys in here have money to blow and more power to them. I see plenty guys have run TSP or Stainless Power with no problems so I'll do the same. If I had endless funds it would be Kooks no doubt but I don't so...

Just installed TSP 2" long tubes today, fit is perfect and they were a breeze to install.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The main difference you'll see in the TSP stuff compared to Speed is TSP uses a upgraded collector, merge spike & seamless thicker tubing. The seam thin tubing isn't worth the possibility of failure.

Sorry dude, but the SE headers have everything you just described. Merge collectors, check. Seamless thick wall tubing, check. Scavenger spike, check. Almost $100 cheaper with everything included, check. I almost bought TSP headers and I may likely do so in the future when I get another Camaro and build it rompity rowdy and use your 2" headers. If SE offered theirs in a well fitting 2", I'd give them a shot as well. Cheers!

Chances are, the 304SS that is used for US made headers and exhaust came from China anyways.

Found a set of brand new speed engineering headers local to me on Craigslist. Paid 200. Bucks for them with o2 extensions and gasket, plus a married diablosport intune.

They are nice pieces. Welds look good. They do have a merge spike. Polishing looks nice aswell. What i dont like is the flange is rough and will need some flat sanding. And the mid pipes, i dont see the reason why they made them step up in size to look like cats.

I believe it's to pass a visual inspection.
