Hello from NJ. Future owner
Hey everybody. just dropping by reading up on as much as I can before I go buy my Camaro. currently in the market for a 2014-2015 Camaro 2ss/rs/1le. I know this much as I plan to have some fun with it. Coming from a 4 cyl world its a big difference when I test drove one the other day. Stock form they seem very slow but I can fix that.
I read up on a lot of threads pertaining to the Recaro seats option. Are they really that rare? I cant seem to find any with those seats at all. Just like finding the right 1LE. I'm still on a debate if I should go automatic with paddle shifter or go 6 manual. If anybody wants a 500+ hp 4 cyl let me know =] Its a nice little chevy cobalt with 38k miles on the odometer. Its a fun car. |

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I believe that the 1LE option is only available with a manual transmission.

Is your heart set on a 2014-15 model SS? If not and you have doubts, drive a 2016 SS too. And yes Recaro seats are hard to come by and expensive as hell to add on later just because the seats cost so damn much compared to the dealer option on them. I personally have a 2015 SS/RS 1LE. I had to make a journey to Va from NJ to get mine at a dealer.

I'm dead set on the 14-15. the reason behind that is pretty simple. I simply love the way the hood is on that year and the tail lights. That is why I'm dead set on the years. The interior looks the same all around though lol so not much difference there aside the steering wheel. I was looking at 1 in texas. I'm still hunting for one and I know I will find my Camaro. even if I have to drive it back from California ill do it.
Lunchbox HHR SS huh. those things are quirky. I could never get used to them. Had my little cobalt SS for a good while now. |
