I was feeling kind of disappointed when my performance shop told me they had put in bre7 plugs (a colder plug) especially when I had paid 120.00 dollars to buy a set of Plustar plugs for it. Now I guess I am glad to hear a colder plug can be better.

Loss of power was the drop in fuel pressure and not the plug itself. That lean condition would have burned any temp rated plug. I'm fairly certain that Lingenfelter upgrades the fuel system and they just don't talk much about it. Good thing you just burned the plugs and not the pistons. Hope you get it worked out. Don't run E85 unless you convert to the dual squash pumps....

Well finally got the car back up and going again. Added a BAP and the fuel pressure is holding nicely at 65 PSI at WOT. Car made 608 RWHP and 590 RWTQ on 91 and made 619 RWHP and 619 RWTQ on 91 (3/4 tank) and 1 can of Torco. Was expecting higher numbers, but the car had made 20 pulls by this time, so those numbers are on a Heat Soaked S/C. Only running 15 degrees of timing right now.

I'm always willing to sacrifice 10hp for durability and piece of mind on my tune.
