Harness mounting point

Ok so I'm running G-Force harness's. Can I mount the shoulder straps to the car seat mounting tab in the back if the car? Currently my shoulder straps are mounted to the floor. Turns out that a bad idea.

We need a better plan, a better setup. Why are you using a harness? Drag? Road Course? AC?

Schroth who made my harness specifically steers people away from this. I'm unsure on what forces they can take but I wouldn't trust it. What type of harness is this? If it's a 3 point like mine you can bolt into the rear seatbelt bolt on the upper c pillar. If you're using a 4 point or more you will need a tank plate or a harness bar.

This is a 1000+whp street car. Has racing seats and harness bar. My harnesses won't mount to the harness bar because of how they are designed.

I'm running G force 5point harness's

There may be a simple fix. Can post a picture of the ends of your harness?

Have a machine shop machine a sleeve with a collar on it, sort of a TEAM shape. Drill a hole in your harness bar and insert the tube. Weld the tube in place. Through bolt the harness strap. You now have a safe install.
