Auto boot

Installed the Fesler auto boot. Wasn't sure if anyone ever saw it "in the wild" so to speak so here. I like it; would've been nice if Fesler included instal steps as promised on their website. But...thnx to DIYs on here and some helpful member input I figured it out on my own.

Looks nice... I assume that it is real leather? How hard was it to attach to the trim piece?

Where did you get it? Do you have a link?

Try this link:
http://www.shopfesler.com/products/2...ift-Boots.html

The whole PRNDL piece comes off, including it's base. This replaces it. Now that I know how it goes, it could be done in 15 minutes if I rush.

Sorry guys for the no instruction thing. Some how the file was lost so we are getting a new set of instructions written up and will be available here going forward. The boot looks great in the car.

They did a great job with it, I like the plastic piece to hold it in place. How is the noise taking out the PRNDM piece.

As a hint, search the install instructions for the Hurst Comp shifter plate. It the same process right up until you would start installing the hurst unit.

I have noticed no difference in sound with or without the PRNDL indicator.

And it matches DSV's leather e/brake boot pretty well too as a bonus.

not everyone wants to push in a clutch at the light everytime you go somewhere. clutches are great for 16 yr olds. the boot looks good though
